Suspect Device Removed In Co Down Alert
A security alert in Co Down has now ended.
Army bomb disposal experts removed a suspect device that was found in the Carsons Dale area in Ballygowan on Thursday night, 24 August.
The device has been taken for forensic examination.
Police confirmed the alert has ended.

Viable Device Found In Co Tyrone
A viable device has been found following a security alert near Strabane, County Tyrone. A device was found on Ballyheather Road on Tuesday. The road has now been re-opened between the junctions of the Lisdivin Road and Clogher Road. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene.

West Belfast security alert ends
A security alert in west Belfast has ended. Police have described the device, which was discovered in the Grosvenor Road area of the city as “viable.” A number of items have since been taken from the scene for forensic examination.

Security Alert In Portadown Now Ended
A security alert following the discovery of a suspected World War Two grenade in Portadown has now ended. The device was found on Bridge Street on Tuesday by a member of the public who had been fishing in the River Bann. Ammunition technical officers attended the scene and confirmed it was a viable device.

Viable Device Recovered In Belfast Security Alert
Police have recovered a viable device following a security alert in Belfast. Residents had to be evacuated from their homes and widespread disruption was caused during the alert in North Queen Street on Tuesday, 12 September. The device has been sent for further examination. The alert has now ended.

Security alert in Ballymena has ended
A security alert in County Antrim has ended. Army Technical Officers carried out a controlled explosion on a device which was found in Ballymena earlier today, however nothing untoward was discovered. Shortly before 11am today, a suspicious device was found close to a licensed premises in the Mill Street area of the town.
