Investigation Launched After Gang Attack House And Car In Antrim
Police have launched an investigation after masked men attacked a house and damaged a car in Co Antrim.
The incident happened in the Ardnaglass Gardens area just after midnight on Friday, 18 August.
The front door of the property was smashed and the windows of a Volkswagen Golf were also smashed.
Police believed there may be paramilitary involvement.
Detective Sergeant Colin Gray said: "It's believed the males made their escape in a Volkswagen Passat that was found burnt out in the Carneary Lane area a short time later.
"We would like to hear from anyone with information about this crime. Detectives can be contacted by calling 101, quoting reference number 3218/08/17. Information can also be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Nine men have been arrested following an attack at a house in County Antrim. Around 20 men with hammers and bats smashed windows and a door at a property in the Newpark estate at around 20.10 on Thursday, according to the PSNI. Nine men were later arrested in connection with the attack.

Man arrested over city assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in west Belfast on August 23 2006. During the attack, which happened in the Dungloe Crescent area of the city, the attacker smashed the window of a vehicle in which two men were sitting, in an alleged attempt to assault them.
