Two Men Released Over Pipe Bomb Attack In L'Derry
Police have released two men have been unconditionally following an investigation into dissident republican activity in Co L'Derry.
The arrests were in relation to a pipe bomb attack in the Earhart Park area in January this year.
The pair, aged 22 and 29, were detained in the Claudy and Shantallow areas on Thursday, 17 August, and taken to Belfast to be questioned. They have since been released.

Man Released Over L'Derry Paramilitary Style Attack
A 51-year-old man arrested under the Terrorism Act by detectives investigating a paramilitary-style attack in L'Derry has been released. He was arrested in the Creggan area of the city on Monday, 22 October, on suspicion of carrying out an attack on 05 October, when a man was shot in both legs in the Brandywell area.

Prison Officer Released On Bail Over Drugs Offences
A prison officer has been released on bail after being arrested over drugs offences. The woman, reported to be 50-years-old, was arrested on suspicion of possessing and supplying Class A and B drugs at Maghaberry Prison. According to reports, it is understood she was detained on Monday, and released pending further enquiries.

Q1 Crown Court Cases Increase 10%
Figures released today show a 10% increase in the number of Crown court cases from January to March 2013, compared with the same quarter the previous year. There were 477 Crown cases received during the first quarter, in comparison to 435 received during the same period in 2012.

More NI People Joining Dole Queue
There are now more people on the Dole in Northern Ireland with figures released today showing that the unemployment rate increased to reach 7.8%. This is according to the statistics recorded over the quarter, September - November 2010, backed-up by more recent figures for December 2010.
