Power cuts blackout parts of NI
Thousands of homes and businesses across Northern Ireland have been hit by a major power shortage.

There are reports of power failures as far apart as north Belfast, Banbridge, Newcastle, Newtownabbey and Downpatrick. Newry was also reported to be affected.
NIE said it would have to turn off the electricity in certain towns in rotation and other areas would be affected as supply was interrupted.
