Police Appeal To Help Trace Missing Man Geoffrey Montgomery

Police are appealing for information to help trace missing man Geoffrey Montgomery, aged 62.

It is believed he left his home in Serpentine Road in Newtownabbey sometime after midnight on Friday, 11 August.

His wife and family are concerned for his safety and well-being.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We believe that Geoffrey left his home address in the area of the Serpentine Road, Newtownabbey, sometime after midnight last night. His current whereabouts are unknown and we have no known way of contacting him.

"At the moment we believe he may be wearing a light olive green track top and a blue/white baseball cap.

"If you can help in any way, please phone Police on 101 quoting reference 248 of 11th August 2017. Please only use 999 if it is an emergency situation."

Newtownabbey Fire Believed To Have Been Started Deliberately
A fire that spread from an oil tank and destroyed a row of houses in Newtownabbey is being treated as arson. The blaze in the Ballyduff Gardens area is believed to have been started deliberately, according to the PSNI. The fire broke out at around 6pm on Saturday, 19 May.

Appeal Over Missing Broughshane Man
Police have appealed to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of a man from Broughshane, Ballymena, County Antrim. Geoffrey Adams, who is 53 years old, was last seen at Antrim Area Hospital on the afternoon of Sunday 8 February. Police have described him as 5' 9", very thin, bald with a grey beard, crooked teeth and a crooked nose.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Appeal To Identify Man Believed To Have Been Involved In Serious Assault
Police in Belfast are appealing to the public for information to try and identify the man pictured. The man is believed to have been involved in a serious attack which happened outside licensed premises in the Bank Square area at around 10pm on 16 January.
