Rider Dies After Collision At Dundrod 150 Races

A rider from Wigan has died following a collision at the Dundrod 150 National race at the Ulster Grand Prix.

Jamie Hodson, aged 35, was involved in the incident at 'Joey's Windmill' section of the circuit on Thursday, 10 August.

His brother Rob was also involved, however he was not seriously injured.

The Dundrod & District Motorcycle Club expressed its sincere condolences to Jamie’s family and friends.

Soldiers Remembered In Cross Border Commemoration
Former soldiers from both sides of the Irish border stood shoulder to shoulder in Co Louth on Saturday to honour servicemen from the Republic and Northern Ireland. Around 150 people gathered at the Cenotaph in Drogheda for the all-Ireland remembrance event to pay tribute to the hundreds of men from the town killed fighting with the British Forces.
