Three Charged With Drug-Trafficking Offences

Two men and a woman have been charged with drug-trafficking offences.

The men, aged 74 and 62, were arrested after police seized cannabis worth an estimated £150,000 at a house on the Donegall Road in Belfast.

The woman, aged 64, was detained after officers found drugs worth £100,000 during a follow-up search at a property in Enniskillen.

All three suspects are to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 09 August.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Appeal Issued For Missing Belfast Woman
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Belfast woman Noreen Mallon. Noreen, aged in her 40s, was last seen on Thursday 09 August in Belfast city centre. Police have said that they are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101.

Arrest As Children Struck By Car In West Belfast
A man has been arrested after two children were struck by a car in west Belfast. The boys, aged six and 12, were crossing the Andersonstown Road on Saturday evening, 05 October, when they were knocked down by a white Vauxhall Insignia.

Two men deny attacking woman at caravan site
Two men have denied assaulting a woman at a caravan site in Co Antrim on Monday. Patrick Doherty, 49, of Main Line, Larne, and his son, Bernard Doherty, 22, of Belfast Road, Larne, were both charged on Wednesday with the attempted murder of Christine Doherty.

FURTHER TENSION IN NORTH BELFAST
TENSIONS in north Belfast continue to run high after 100 protestant residents blocked a road on Tuesday evening and a shot was fired into a house in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Both incidents took place in the Oldpark area.
