Pitch Perfect Competition Open To Businesses
The operator of the Belfast Christmas Market, Market Place, have launched their annual Pitch Perfect competition, offering winners a chalet at the Market and business support worth thousands of pounds.
Now in its 13th year, the seasonal Market, which opens in the grounds of Belfast City Hall on Saturday 18 November, attracts over a million visitors each year. Once again via the Pitch Perfect competition, Market Place is offering sponsorship for up to two local businesses providing them with an invaluable opportunity to reach a huge new market and showcase their product.
The annual Pitch Perfect competition is open to businesses that have been trading for over six months but less than two years. For previous winners it has proved to be a great way to fast track their business development and growth.
Market Place Managing Director, Allan Hartwell said: "We are very passionate about our Pitch Perfect competition as a mechanism for us to support new local businesses. It reflects how strongly we take our responsibility to Belfast and Northern Ireland that we again decided to sponsor new businesses this year. Of course this also demonstrates the range of high quality businesses in this region that can benefit from this kind of support.
"For the winners this will be a steep learning-curve so it’s important those applying feel prepared. That’s why we’ll be behind them all the way with practical advice and support. We have no doubt that trading at the Belfast Christmas Market will provide a very solid foundation for their businesses in the future."
This year the Market will have an enhanced family focus and will keep in place the 20 additional chalets along the outer perimeter of the City Hall grounds that were introduced last year.
The competition has a simple two-page application process, and applications can be downloaded here, marketplaceeurope.co.uk/pitch-perfect. The deadline for applications is 24 August.
