Police Appeal After Car Left 'Unidentifiable' Following Blaze

Police are appealing for information after arsonists set a car on fire in Portadown and the vehicle has been left with "no unidentifiable features".

The attack took place in the Woodside Green area at around 10.40pm on Monday, 31 July.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Due to the heat of the blaze, there are no identifiable features left on the car. We're pretty sure it's a Peugeot 206 and that it may have been turquoise before this incident.

"If you are missing a similar vehicle, or know anyone who is, please give us a call on 101. Equally, if you saw anyone driving a similar motor, around it in Woodside Green, or running away, possibly smelling of smoke, lighter fluid, and guilt, give us a call.

"The incident number is 1486 of 31/07/17."
