New Belfast to Teesside route announced
A new route between Belfast and the north east of England has been announced today.
bmibaby will fly from Belfast International Airport to Teesside in a new single daily flight service which aims to complement its existing services from Aldergrove to East Midlands, Manchester and Cardiff.
Commenting on the announcement, Albert Harrison, Managing Director, Belfast International Airport said: "Once again Belfast International is in a position to announce low cost services to another UK destination.
“The announcement of this new route to Teesside represents a further strengthening of our relationship with bmibaby. I am delighted that in addition to this new route together we are also responsible for the only service from Northern Ireland to Wales which has become a very popular choice with customers."
Mr Harrison said the new route was excellent news for both Northern Ireland business and leisure travellers alike giving greater opportunity to travel at affordable prices and increasing the options for inbound business and tourism to the province.
