Banbridge Restaurant 'Gutted' In Second Suspicious Fire
An investigation has been launched into the cause of fire at a restaurant in Banbridge, Co Down.
Police reported that the pizzeria restaurant has been "gutted" in the fire, which they are treating as arson.
It is understood it is the second fire at the same restaurant this month.
Emergency services were first called to a fire at the restaurant on Wednesday, 05 July.
The Fire and Rescue Service was called to the the same restaurant at about 4am this morning, Tuesday, 18 July, after it was reported to be on fire again.
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
It is understood that the first floor flat above the pizzeria was also extensively damaged by the fire. There have been no reports of any injuries in either of the fires.

'Culture Of Fear' For Firefighters At Work
Staff at the Northern Ireland Fire Service are working in a "culture of fear and mistrust", a report has found. An investigation carried out by the Department of Health also highlighted unauthorised bonuses and outstanding grievances as causes for concern in the organization.

A1 Reopens After Lorry Fire
The A1 is now open following a lorry blaze close to the coach works at Banbridge Road, Dromore, this morning. It was closed in both directions after the driver reported smelling fumes from his cab and pulling over to find the vehicle in flames. No one was hurt in the incident. The road is now fully open.

NI's Chief Fire Officer Announces His Retirement
The Chief Fire Officer for Northern Ireland, Peter Craig, has announced that he is to retire after over 35 years of distinguished Service. Peter Craig is one of the longest serving officers in Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service and was appointed as Chief Fire Officer in February 2011, having been the acting Chief from July 2010.
