Two Men Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of Police Officer

Two people have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a police officer in Belfast.

The community officer sustained two bullet wounds to his arm after a number of shots were fired at a petrol station on the Crumlin Road on 22 January.

The pair, aged 18 and 33, were arrested in west Belfast and are being questioned at Musgrave Police Station.

Two Men Arrested After Police Officer Shot In North Belfast
Two more men have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a police officer in north Belfast. The attack happened at a petrol station on the Crumlin Road on Sunday, 22 January. The officer sustained two bullet wounds to his arm and is in a stable condition in hospital.

Police Vehicle Contracts Arrest - Man Released
A 54-year-old member of police staff who was arrested in County Antrim as part of ongoing investigations into the awarding of vehicle contracts has been released. The man was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and has been taken to a police station in Belfast for questioning.

Man Arrested For Attempted Murder Of Police Officer
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a police officer was injured when he was carried for up to 30m on the bonnet of a car in L'Derry on Monday, 02 May. In the same incident, a second officer was also injured when he was struck by the same vehicle.

Man Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of Police Officer
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of an off-duty police officer. The man was detained in L'Derry in connection with an incident in which an explosive device was found close to an officer's house near Dungiven on 20 April this year.
