Police Officers Injured After Stolen Car Collides With PSNI Vehicle
Two police officers have been injured after a stolen car collided with their vehicle in west Belfast.
The incident happened in the Springfield Avenue area in the early hours of Thursday morning, 29 June.
Police observed a red coloured Vauxhall Astra and a blue coloured Citroen DS3 speeding along the Donegall Road in the direction of Falls Road.
The vehicles then travelled to Cavendish Street before the Citroen car collided with a police vehicle on Springfield Avenue.
The male driver got out of the car and got into a Vauxhall Astra which made off from the scene. The vehicle was later found abandoned in Milford Place.
Both vehicles had been reported stolen.
The officers injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Officers were called to an incident in the Dunmore Avenue area where a number of males had gained entry to a red Mitsubishi Colt. They attended the area and observed the stolen vehicle on the Cavehill Road area.

A silver Volkswagen, which had been reported stolen in the Castlereagh area in connection with a creeper style burglary on Wednesday morning, collided with the PSNI vehicle in the Cullingtree area just before 9.45pm on Wednesday, 15 February.

A police vehicle has been rammed by a stolen car in north Belfast on Wednesday morning, 04 November. A number of men gained entry to a Mitsubishi Colt in the Marsden Gardens area. Police watched the stolen vehicle on the Cavehill Road. The car did not stop for the police and a PSNI vehicle was rammed, however no serious injuries were reported.

Two Teens Charged After Reversing Stolen Car Into Police Vehicle
Two teenagers have been charged after a stolen car they were driving reversed into a police car. The car, which is believed to have been taken from the Kent Street area of Belfast, was seen being driven erratically on the Whitecliff Parade on Tuesday evening. The vehicle was spotted around an hour later by police on the Falls Road.
