The occupant of the house, Trevor George, claimed it was the 36th attack on their Mossvale estate home in the past few years. He blamed loyalist paramilitaries, specifically the UDA, for Monday night's attack.
The incident occurred at around 11.30pm on Monday as Mr George, his wife and their daughter sat in their home near Seymour Hill.
Two petrol bombs were thrown at a conservatory, however only one of the devices fully ignited. Two windows were shattered as a result of the attack.
