Police Appeal After Suspicious Car Parked Outside School In Co Antrim

Police are appealing for information after reports of a suspicious car parked outside a primary school in Co Antrim.

A white Toyota car was parked outside St Patricks Primary School at around 8.30am in Loughgiel on Monday, 19 June.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "The vehicle in question has not been identified, if you observed this vehicle or were the driver of the vehicle please contact police on 101 quoting reference number 673 19.06.17. There is nothing to suggest the driver comitted any offences, we would just be keen to clarify the reason for parking next to the school."

Newtownabbey House Targeted In Petrol Bomb Attack
A house in Newtownabbey was the target of a petrol bomb attack on Monday evening, 15 October. The attack happened in the Plantation Avenue area of the town shortly after 10pm. The windows of the house and a car parked outside both had scorch damage. No one was injured in the attack, however it is understood residents were left shaken.

Two People Escape Injury After Shots Fired At House In L'Derry
Two people have escaped injury after shots were reportedly fired at a house in Co L'Derry. A gang of masked men smashed the front door of the property in the Dove Gardens are on Thursday, 21 September, however they failed to get in. The men broke the windows of a vehicle parked outside, according to the PSNI.

New Clamping And Removal Operation Launched
A new clamping and removal operation for illegally parked vehicles in urban clearways and bus lanes in Belfast has been launched. Drivers who park illegally the main arterial routes into and out of Belfast may have their vehicles removed and clamped.
