Software Firm Creates 60 New Posts In Belfast
A software firm has announced it is to create 60 new jobs in Belfast.
Version 1 will also be doubling the size of its office space at Cromac Place.
Lorna McAdoo, Head of Operations at Version 1 NI, said: "We have become more competitive in Northern Ireland and this, combined with hard work and commitment from our team, has led to several large contracts being awarded to us.
"Over the next six months, we will be doubling our office space at Cromac Place and also doubling our workforce to 120 over the next two years. We have very exciting times ahead."
The posts are to be created over the next two years.

Border Watch Office Creates NI Jobs
Over two dozen jobs are being created with the opening of a new Belfast office of the UK Border Agency. Billed as a 'one stop shop' for immigration services in Northern Ireland, it was officially opened on Monday in south Belfast. The facility will handle asylum claims, enforce immigration law and enrol foreign nationals on to the ID cards scheme.

Belfast to be sole vehicle tax office open next week
Belfast will have the only Local Vehicle Licensing Office open to the public next week as the civil service staff union escalates strike action over pay. DVLNI said it had been advised by NIPSA of continuous strike action by their members from Monday 26 April.

Rural Post Offices get funding boost
Some of Northern Ireland's most deprived rural areas received a boost today on the launch of a £750,000 fund to support Post Office branches. The Government said it hoped the Fund would help sub postmasters to develop and improve services for their local communities.

New £300,000 Devenish Island Jetty Officially Opens
Minister for Infrastructure, John O'Dowd, has officially opened the newly completed £300,000 jetty at Devenish Island. Funded by the Department for Infrastructure, Waterways Ireland has extended the island's east jetty by 60 metres, doubling mooring capacity at the heritage site from six to 12 vessels.
