Motorcyclist Killed In Lisburn Collision Named

A motorcyclist who died in a collision in Lisburn has been named as Graeme Livingstone.

The 29-year-old from Bangor was killed in a crash with a car on the Saintfield Road on Friday, 09 June.

In a Facebook post, The Extras Department said: "Many of our extras will have met Graeme Livingstone on set over the years, as an extra, then as an AD and in props.

"I know you will join us in sending your deepest condolences to his family and friends in this difficult time. Always in our hearts. RIP Graeme. Taken from this world far too soon."

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

A man has been charged with murder after a body was found in a car in Lisburn on Monday, 26 September. The body of a man, named locally as Gerry Mulligan, was discovered in the Limehurst Way area. The suspect is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 29 September.

Graeme McDowell Announces Baby's Birth
Graeme McDowell has become a father for the first time. The golfer, who hails from Northern Ireland, shared the news via his Twitter account. In a short message to his followers, the 35-year-old wrote: "Thanks so much for all the well wishes. "Mum and baby girl are happy and healthy. Happiest moment of my life hands down. #daddy #love".

Man Dies In Roadside Incident
A man in his 40s has died following an incident on the Belfast Road, near Nutts Corner in County Antrim. The deceased, named locally as Terry Telford, passed away on Saturday morning, 06 June. It is believed he was working on a lorry by the roadside when the incident occurred. The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

Star Golfer McDowell Wins Ulster Degree
The University of Ulster is to confer an honorary doctorate on US Open champion and Ryder Cup hero, Graeme McDowell. The Portrush golfer who became the first Northern Ireland professional to capture a Major title since Fred Daly's British Open success at Hoylake in 1947 will receive a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree at a ceremony in the New Year.
