Teenager Attacked In L'Derry

A vulnerable teenager has been attacked in Co L'Derry.

The 15-year-old boy was beaten with iron bars by a gang of masked men in the Gartan Square area shortly after midnight on Saturday, 10 June.

He sustained a number of broken bones.

The attack had "all the hallmarks of a paramilitary-style assault", according to the police.

The PSNI are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Appeal For Information After Teen Attacked Twice In L'Derry
Police have issued an appeal for information following the assault of a 19-year-old man in L'Derry. According to reports, the teenager was attacked twice following a bonfire in the Gallagh area of L'Derry on Sunday night. Police have said that the teen was first attacked between 11.45 and 00.15 and again by a group of males between 00.30 and 01.00.

A teenager has been sexually attacked in L'Derry. The assault occurred in the St Columbs Park area on Friday at around midnight. A 17-year-old girl was approached by an unknown male and assaulted. He is described as being aged in his 30's.

Armed Gang Assault Teenager In South Belfast
A teenager has been attacked by a gang armed with baseball bats in south Belfast. The assault occurred in the Maryville street area between 1am and 1.30am on Thursday, 11 May. The 17-year-old boy sustained facial injuries as well as fractures to his hands, shoulder and legs. Police described the attack as "reckless".
