Police return to murder scene in Lisburn
Police have returned to the scene of an attack on a man who died after being assaulted in Co Antrim.
James McMahon, 21, was attacked by three masked men in Lisburn at around 10.30pm on Thursday November 20.
Detectives questioned passers-by at Hancock Street in the city centre where the incident took place.
The victim suffered serious head injuries after being beaten with baseball bats during the assault.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast where he later died.
Police believe loyalist paramilitaries may have been involved in the attack.
Meanwhile, guns and ammunition have been recovered by police in south Belfast.
Two handguns and a small amount of ammunition were found in the garden of a house in the Cromwell road area at around 9pm on Thursday.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

A 19-year-old man has been injured during a serious assault in South Belfast. The attack took place in an entry off Elm Street in the Donegal Pass area of the city. Police were informed of the attack shortly after 8pm last night.

Two men have been assaulted by a gang of males in what police are describing as a paramilitary style attack. The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 27 June, in the Derrycoole Way area of Newtownabbey. The victims, aged 32 and 37, suffered minor injuries when targeted by a group of up to eight men.
