Bag With Sum Of Cash Stolen In North Belfast Robbery

Police have launched an investigation after a green leather carrier bag containing a sum of cash was stolen after a man was robbed in north Belfast.

The incident happened in the Carrs Glen Park area between 2.15am and 2.30am on Saturday, 04 June.

PSNI Constable Marsh said: "Police particularly want to speak to two men seen in the area at this time. One is described as being 5ft 9inches tall, in his mid-thirties with a stocky build and wearing a black tee shirt. The other has been described as being 5ft 10inches tall, in his mid / late twenties, slim build and wearing a white tee shirt.

"We are appealing for anyone with information, who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who may have information about the incident or witnessed these two individuals to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on 101, quoting crime reference number 147 of 04/06/17."

Detectives investigate west Belfast robbery
Police in west Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery in licensed premises in the Falls Road area. It is understood two men, carrying handguns and wearing Halloween masks, entered the Rock bar between 11:45pm and 12.15am on Wednesday. A manager was forced to open a safe and hand over a substantial sum of money.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Appeal Issued For Missing Teenagers
Police have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 14-year-old Katie Jackson Lilburn and 15-year-old Darren Braxton. PSNI Ards have said they are becoming increasingly concerned for the teenagers, who were last seen in the Comber area on Wednesday night, 26 April.
