Second Man Arrested Over Colin Horner Murder

A second man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner.

Mr Horner, 35, was shot in front of his young son at Sainsbury's car park in Balloo Link, Bangor, on Sunday, 28 May.

A 47-year-old was arrested in Newtownards on Wednesday, 31 May.

A man arrested on Tuesday, 30 May, remains in police custody.

Police believe the murder may be linked to a loyalist paramilitary feud.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man at a supermarket car park in Co Down. Colin Horner, 35, was fatally shot in front of his son just outside Sainsbury's in Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. A 28-year-old man was arrested in the Newtownards area on Tuesday evening, 31 May.

Man Arrested Over Colin Horner Murder
A man has been arrested over the murder of Colin Horner. Mr Horner was fatally shot outside a supermarket in Bangor in front of his son on 28 May this year. The 34-year-old suspect was arrested in Newtownards on Wednesday morning, 04 October. He has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station to be questioned.
