Teenager Charged After 'Altercation' At Belfast Park
A 17-year-old girl has been charged with four counts of common assault following reports of an "altercation" in Botanic Gardens in south Belfast.
The PSNI were alerted to the incident just before 4pm on Thursday, 04 May.
The girl is due to appear at Belfast Youth Court on 31 May.
A man was also arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and has been detained in police custody.
The PSNI believe there may have been other assaults in the area and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two charged as arms haul uncovered in west Belfast
Two men have been charged by police after an arms haul was uncovered in west Belfast. The discovery, which is being linked to the Continuity IRA, saw three vehicles, an AK47 assault rifle and five real and replica handguns seized by police following eight house searches over the past few days.

The PSNI have made a 'specific witness appeal' as part of an investigation into an alleged assault in Belfast city centre. An altercation is reported to have occurred inside licensed premises in the Bedford Street area on Sunday, 12th May at approximately 8.30pm.

Arrest Over Hijacking & Common Assault
Police investigating a series of incidents in County Antrim and Down on Saturday 01 June have arrested a 31-year-old man. It follows a number of disturbances in the Newcastle, Lisburn, Carryduff and west Belfast areas. The man was detained on suspicion of hijacking and common assault. He remains in police custody this morning, Wednesday 05 June.

Man Seriously Attacked In South Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously attacked in south Belfast. The assault occurred at a property in the Wauchope Court area on New Year's Eve. The man, aged in his 20s, is being treated in hospital. Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
