100 New Jobs To Be Created In Dublin

Globoforce, an Irish software company co-headquartered in Dublin and Boston, has announced it is to create 100 jobs over the next three years.

The firm unveiled its new 45,000 sq ft headquarters at Park West, Dublin, as it continues to expand globally.

Recruitment is underway for the first phase of the jobs and 50 of the positions are expected to be filled within the next year.

The jobs will range from graduate level upwards and will be in the fields of software development, software engineering, user experience, analysts, finance, customer service and customer success.

Eric Mosley, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Globoforce said: "These are very exciting times for Globoforce. When I co-founded the company in 1999 we started out with 5 employees in Dublin, we now employ more than 400 people in Dublin and Boston, and the company is growing year on year. With international blue chip clients such as InterContinental Hotel Group, LinkedIn, and Symantec, I am proud that we are a successful Irish tech company competing on a global scale."

Dublin Bus Workers Begin 48-Hour Strike Action
More than 1,500 SIPTU union members working for Dublin Bus have begun a 48-hour work stoppage today, 08 September, in a dispute over pay and conditions.
