Shots Fired At House In West Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a number of shots were fired at a house in West Belfast.

The incident occurred in the Aitnamona Crescent area on Wednesday, 19 April. 

Detective Inspector Mark McHaffie said: "Just after 10pm, a number of shots were fired at the house. Two people were in the property at the time however no-one was injured.

"We are carrying out a number of follow-up enquiries and we are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time.

"Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact detectives at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1317 19/04/2017. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Two shots have been fired at a house while three people, including two children, were sleeping upstairs. The incident happened at a property in the Shimna Walk area in Lurgan on Saturday, 02 September, at around 10.30pm. No-one was hurt, however a man was seen running away from the scene.

The incident happened at around 7.30pm, when a shotgun round was fired through the front door and into the hallway of a property in the Glenveagh Park area of the city. No was was injured during the attack.

A number of shots have been fired at a house in Ballyclare just after midnight on Tuesday. The incident occurred at a property on the Rashee Road at approximately 12.30am. No one was in the property at the time. Two men were seen running from the scene in the direction of Ballyclare.

Number Of Shots Fired At House In West Belfast
A number of shots have been fired at a house in west Belfast. The incident happened in Tollanamona Court at around 2.40am on Saturday, 16 July. Several shots were fired through the front window and door of the property. A man, woman and child in the house at the time were not injured. Sinn Féin Councillor Emma Groves said: "I condemn this attack.

Number Of Shots Fired At House In Lurgan
A number of shots have been fired at a house in Lurgan, Co Tyrone. Four people were in the property in the Princes Street area when the attack happened at around 2am on Monday, 05 September. No-one was injured however the occupants were left badly shaken. The PSNI are treating the attack as a "hate crime".
