Three Ulster Rugby Players Named In British & Irish Lions Squad

Three Ulster Rugby players have been named in the British & Irish Lions squad.

Rory Best, Iain Henderson and Jared Payne have been included in the squad who are to tour New Zealand this summer.

The trio are among 11 Ireland players selected by Lions Head Coach Warren Gatland.

Jack McGrath, Tadhg Furlong, CJ Stander, Sean O'Brien, Peter O'Mahony, Conor Murray, Jonathan Sexton and Robbie Henshaw have also been selected in the 41-man touring party.

Belfast City Council is asking people to donate unwanted spectacles and glasses to a project helping to improve the sight of people in developing countries. The Belfast Lions Club initiative is seeking to send old pairs of glasses to eye camps in developing countries and Eastern Europe.
