Woman Dies After Falling Overboard From Boat In Co Fermanagh
A woman has died after falling overboard from a boat in Co Fermanagh.
The incident happened near Devenish Island on Lough Erne just after 1am on Thursday, 11 April.
An investigation has been launched and a post mortem examination is to be carried out.
Inspector Gavin Sterling said: "A full search operation was implemented and sadly a body was recovered from the water shortly before 3am this morning. An investigation into the circumstances is now underway and a post mortem examination is expected to be carried out.
"Local police would extend their sympathies to the family and would offer thanks to all of the agencies involved in the overnight operation."
Sinn Féin MLA Jemma Dolan said: "The news of the death of a woman in her 30s in a boating tragedy in Lough Erne near Devenish Island has shocked the local community.
"I'd like to commend the efforts of the emergency crews were came to the scene to provide assistance.
"My thoughts are with the family and friends of this young woman from Donegal at this difficult time."

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Two fishermen have been saved from their boat following a collision south of Carlingford Lough. It emerged that the Scathross from Kilkeel had been struck by the Emanuel, a second vessel also from Kilkeel.

Man Released Over Death Of Sean Corrigan
A man arrested in connection with the death of Sean Corrigan in west Belfast has been released unconditionally. The 26-year-old man was arrested and questioned by police on Wednesday. Sean Corrigan, 31, was found at a flat in the St Mary's Gardens area on Saturday 13 September, 2014.

Body discovered on Strangford Lough
The badly decomposed body of a man has been discovered on a stretch of shoreline near Portaferry, County Down. Police were called to the scene after a member of the public who was walking on the beach near Quintin Castle, discovered the body at around 10.30am.
