Invest NI Announces Knowledge Transfer Partnership Showcase

Invest NI has announced a showcase event to highlight the work carried out across Northern Ireland by its Knowledge Transfer Partnership(KTP) Programme.

The KTP programme aims to help businesses improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance through better use of the knowledge, research and expertise residing in universities.

Local businesses are invited to come along to the showcase to find out about the ways that knowledge exchange can help them to innovate and grow.

The event will feature a poster competition and an opportunity for KTP associates currently working on projects to present a two-minute 'elevator pitch' about their project.

The judges will assess pitches against the following criteria:

• clarity and explanation of the project

• demonstration of business impact

• delivery and presentation style

They will evaluate the posters according to their:

• level of innovation

• business impact

• overall clarity and visual impact

Winners of both competitions will get an opportunity to present at this year's Digital DNA Conference.

KTP Showcase will take place at the Titanic Belfast on 27 April 2017.
