Woman Remanded In Custody Over Attempted Murder
A woman has been remanded in custody charged with attempted murder after another female was hit with a hammer in Belfast.
The victim, aged in her 20s, sustained injuries to her face after being assaulted in the Enfield Parade area on Saturday, 08 April.
She was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The suspect was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
She is to appear via video-link at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 12 April.

Lawyer considers client's 'overexposure'
The lawyer of a senior north Belfast loyalist has warned that he may report the Chief Constable, Sir Hugh Orde, and an unnamed Sunday newspaper editor to the Attorney General for over exposure of his client. Ihab Shoukri, from Alliance Road, was today remanded on continuing bail charged two counts of being a member of the UDA/UFF.

Two Teens Charged With Attempted Murder
Two men have been charged with a number of offences including attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the neck. The assault happened at a hostel on the Malone Road in south Belfast on Saturday, 08 April. The victim was treated in hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
