Woman Remanded In Custody Over Attempted Murder
A woman has been remanded in custody charged with attempted murder after another female was hit with a hammer in Belfast.
The victim, aged in her 20s, sustained injuries to her face after being assaulted in the Enfield Parade area on Saturday, 08 April.
She was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The suspect was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
She is to appear via video-link at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 12 April.

Lawyer considers client's 'overexposure'
The lawyer of a senior north Belfast loyalist has warned that he may report the Chief Constable, Sir Hugh Orde, and an unnamed Sunday newspaper editor to the Attorney General for over exposure of his client. Ihab Shoukri, from Alliance Road, was today remanded on continuing bail charged two counts of being a member of the UDA/UFF.

A 34-year-old man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder. The charge relates to an attack on a 50-year-old man in east Belfast, on Tuesday. Police received a report at around 10.30pm on Tuesday night that a man had been seriously assaulted on the Greenville Road in the Beersbridge Road area of the city.
