Three Men Arrested Over Armed Robbery In Co Down

Three men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Killinchy, Co Down.

The incident happened at a shop in the Comber Road area at around 7.30pm on Sunday, 26 March.

A man, armed with a hammer, entered the premises and threatened a female member of staff.

He made off with a sum of cash and cigarettes.

It is believed he got into a black coloured car accompanied by two other males.

Police discovered a car matching the description in north Belfast at around 9pm and stopped it on Clifton Park Avenue.

The three males, aged 26, 27 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in police custody.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Three men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a shop in south Belfast. The incident occurred at a convenience store on the Lisburn Road just after 7am on Tuesday. The robbers held staff at knifepoint and made off on foot with a sum of cash.

Three arrested in connection with armed robbery
Three men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a security van in County Down yesterday morning. Police have said that a man, dressed in a fluorescent jacket and armed with a knife, approached the security guard while he was making a delivery to a grocery store on the Hill Street area of Newry, just before 10am.

Woman Injured In Armed Robbery
Armed thieves made off with a sum of cash following a robbery in west Belfast last night. Three men approached staff while they were locking up a bookmakers sometime before 9.50pm. The males forced the staff inside and proceeded to take an undisclosed sum of cash. Police said the men had firearms in their possession.
