Man Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of PSNI Officers
A man has been arrested over the attempted murder of police officers in Strabane.
A 20-year-old man was detained by police after three officers escaped injury when a device exploded in the Townsend Street area on Tuesday, 21 March.
A security alert is ongoing in the area.
Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell, who is leading the investigation, said: "We appreciate the understanding and patience of local residents as we continue to carry out our enquiries and would appeal for anyone with information about suspicious activity in the area to contact us."

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Arrested Following Belfast Stabbing
A man has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Belfast, it has been reported. Just before 2.20am on Thursday, a 31-year-old man was attacked at a property in the University Avenue area of south Belfast. It is understood he was stabbed in the leg a number of times. Police have said he remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Man Charged Over PSNI Pipe Bomb
A man has been charged over a pipe bomb attack on police officers in north Belfast last month. Police were responding to a 999 call in the Crumlin Road area of the city in the early hours of Tuesday 28 May when what is believed to be two pipe bombs were thrown as the officers stepped out of their vehicle.
