London Terror Attack: Book Of Condolence Opens At Belfast City Hall

A book of condolence has opened at Belfast City Hall in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in London.

The Lord Mayor, Alderman Brian Kingston, Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Mary-Ellen Campbell, DUP Leader Arlene Foster, DUP MP Nigel Dodds and the US Consul in Northern Ireland Daniel Lawton have all signed the book.

Five people were killed and 29 injured in the attack on Westminster Bridge, according to the police.

Belfast City Hall is open to members of the public between the hours of 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sundays.

Book Of Condolence For Manchester Victims Opens At Belfast City Hall
A book of condolence has opened at the Belfast City Hall following a bomb attack in Manchester. The attack at the Manchester Arena claimed the lives of 22 people and injured over 100. Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Mary Ellen Campbell, and the High Sheriff, Alderman Tom Haire, were the first two people to sign the book.

A book of condolence has open at the Belfast City Hall today, 16 November, in honour of the victims of the attacks in Paris. The Lord Mayor Arder Carson and members of political parties attended the signing.

Primark Donates £500,000 To Support Businesses Affected By Fire
Retailer Primark is donating £500,000 to Belfast City Council's City Recovery Investment Fund. The fund is being set up after a number of businesses have been severely affected by the fire at the Bank Buildings which happened over three weeks ago. A cordon remains in place and 14 firms have been closed for up to four months.
