Three Men Charged After Firearm Discovered In Co Fermanagh

Three men have been charged after police discovered a firearm during the search of a car in Co Fermanagh.

The weapon was found after the PSNI stopped a vehicle on the Dublin Road in Enniskillen on Friday, 03 March.

The men, aged 21, 22 and 37, face several charges including having a firearm in suspicious circumstances and possession of an offensive weapon.

They are due to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates' Court today, 06 March.

Shoukri carried gun for ‘protection’
A leading loyalist from north Belfast has said that the handgun he was caught with was to protect himself from an opposing loyalist faction led by Johnny Adair. Andre ‘The Egyptian’ Shoukri, 26, whose address was given as Sunninghill Gardens, is charged with possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition with the intent to endanger life.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and a suspected firearm recovered during a police operation in west Belfast on the evening og Sunday, 07 July. Inspector McCullough said: "Officers carried out planned searches at two properties in the Kashmir Road area of the city – where a suspected firearm and other items were seized from one of the addresses.

Man Arrested And Firearm Recovered In L'Derry
A man has been arrested and a suspected firearm recovered by the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit (TIU) in L'Derry. On Tuesday 21st May, as part of an ongoing operation, officers stopped and searched a vehicle in the Letterkenny Road area of the city at approximately 6.45pm – recovering a suspected firearm and ammunition.

Appeal Over Ballymena Jewellery Robbery
Police have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a jewellery store in Ballymena, County Antrim. Three men, one armed with a suspected firearm, went into the shop on Victoria Street at about 17:00 on Monday evening. The men then threatened members of staff and forced them to lie on the ground.
