Man Arrested Over Bomb Attack At Army Barracks

A man has been arrested in connection with a bomb attack at an army barracks in Holywood in August 2015.

The device exploded in the back of a postal van in Palace Barracks in Holywood.

The 42-year-old suspect is being questioned by the police at Musgrave Serious Crime Suite.

No one was injured in the incident, however a number of vehicles were damaged.

Massereene Murders Accused In Court
A 44-year-old Maghera man has been formally charged with the murders of two soldiers and attempted murders of six others at a Ballymena court. Brian Shivers is accused of shooting dead Sappers Mark Quinsey, 23, from Birmingham, and Patrick Azimkar, 21, from London, (pictured) at the Massereene Army Barracks, Antrim, in March this year.
