Keynote Speaker Announced For Music Business Conference
World-renowned music industry commentator, Bob Lefsetz, has been announced as the closing keynote speaker at Belfast's Output Music conference, due to take place in the Metropolitan Arts Centre (MAC) on Thursday, 16 February.
Author of the must-read 'Lefsetz Letter', Bob is known for being beholden to no one and speaking the truth, addressing the issues that are at the core of the music business: downloading, copy protection, pricing and the music itself.
He engages readers from the most on-trend new bands and producers to Steven Tyler, Quincy Jones and everybody who's in the music business. Never boring, always entertaining, Bob's insights are fuelled by his stint as an entertainment business attorney, major domo of Sanctuary Music's American division and consultancies to major labels.
Joining Bob to speak at Output will be London's Night Czar, Amy Lamé, long term PJ Harvey producer Rob Ellis, Adam Ficek from Babyshambles, Major Lazer graphic designer Ferry Gouw and a huge host of music industry names who will share opinion, expertise and offer advice to Northern Ireland's thriving music industry and artist community.
Organised by Belfast City Council in partnership Generator NI, Invest NI and the Department for Communities music business support programme, Output Belfast is a music and showcasing conference event that features panel discussions, music sessions, workshops and speed networking events as well as keynote speeches from award-winning musicians and managers of globally recognised talent.
Output is free to attend but requires registration, which is open now at outputbelfast.com
