Three People Escape Injury After Pipe Bomb Explodes In L'Derry
Three people have escaped injury after a pipe bomb exploded in the garden of a house in L'Derry.
The incident happened in the Erne Gardens area at around 10.20pm on Wednesday, 25 January.
Army bomb disposal experts attend the scene and declared it a "viable bomb type device".
It has now been removed for further forensic examination.
Two men and a woman were in the house at the time, however they were not injured.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Appeal After Pipe Bomb Explodes In L'Derry
Detectives are investigating after a pipe bomb exploded outside a house in L'Derry. The device detonated in the front garden of a residential property in Montgomery Close at around 2am on Sunday 31 March. No damage was caused to the property, but police said the occupants were lucky to escape uninjured.

An elderly woman has been treated for shock after a pipe bomb exploded outside her house in Craigavon. The device detonated at around 12.50am this morning, Thursday 07 March, in the Burnside area. Police said damage was caused to the front door and hallway of the property.

A pipe bomb has exploded outside a property in north Belfast, police have said. The incident happened at a house in the Carlisle Square area, around 10.50pm on Thursday. It is understood a door to the property was damaged slightly. A man, said to be in his 20s, was inside the house at the time. He was not injured.

Helicopter 'Top Cover' As Bomb Defused
Suburban Glengormley returned to normal yesterday evening after the Army dealt with a pipe bomb in Harmin Park. The PSNI helicopter was overhead of the Newtownabbey district - close to north Belfast - for most of Monday afternoon and some residents were asked to leave their homes, while the examination was carried out.
