Investigation Launched After Woman Threatened During Aggravated Burglary

Police have launched an investigation after a woman was threatened during an aggravated burglary in north Belfast.

The incident happened at a property in the Shore Crescent area at around 11.20pm on Saturday, 21 January.

Two masked men forced their way into the house, threatened a female resident and caused some damage before leaving the scene on foot.

It is understood no-one was injured.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police investigating the armed robbery of a shop in Armoy, Co Antrim, on Saturday night have arrested two men. It is understood that two men armed with a gun and a knife threatened staff at a shop on Coolkeeran Road at about 19:00 on Saturday. The men made off with a quantity of cash and cigarettes. No-one was injured in the incident.

Police have launched an investigation after an aggravated burglary at a house in Belfast. The incident occurred in Cadogan Street, in the Stranmillis area of the city at around 10.15pm on Tuesday 14 May. The man entered the house and threatened two females who were inside while armed with a knife.

Woman Hit With Hammer During Aggravated Burglary In Co Antrim
A woman has been hit on the head with a hammer during an aggravated burglary in Co Antrim. The incident occurred at a house on the Drumskea Road in Ballymoney just before 10pm on Tuesday, 12 September. Three masked men also threatened the woman's teenage daughter and made off with some jewellery.

Police Officers Injured In Chase
Four police officers have been injured following a police chase in County L'Derry. A Nissan Juke car was stolen in the Racecourse area on Thursday night and made off towards the Glenshane Pass. Police chased the car after they discovered it on the Fallaghloon Road in Maghera, and it resulted in both vehicles crashing into one another.

Investigation Launched Following Aggravated Burglary In Co Armagh
Police have launched an investigation following an aggravated burglary in Tandragee, Co Armagh. The incident happened in the Market Street Court area on just before midnight on Thursday, 29 September. A gang of masked men, believed to have been armed with a baseball bat and hammers, caused damage to a house. They were all wearing dark clothes.
