Sinn Féin To Announce Replacement For Martin McGuinness
Sinn Féin is expected to announce who will be taking over from deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness later today, 23 January.
Mr McGuinness stood down over the controversy surrounding the botched Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme.
Health Minister Michelle O'Neill, Finance Minister Máirtín Ó Muilleoir and MLA Conor Murphy have been widely tipped to take over the role.
Last week, Mr McGuinness announced he would not be standing in the election in March due to ill health.

In May 2016 Michelle was re-elected as an Assembly member for Mid Ulster and reappointed to the Executive as Minister for Health.
