Allen Knocked Out Of Quarter Finals
Co Antrim man Mark Allen has been knocked out of the Masters Snooker.
He was defeated by Marco Fu after losing 6-2 on Thursday, 19 January.
He lost the first three frames, however he fought back on the fourth and fifth.
Fu then took over and won the last three frames.
He will now play against Ronnie O'Sullivan in the semi-finals.

Policing Board wants to improve three key areas
The Northern Ireland Policing Board today outlined three key areas it wants to improve on over the next three years. The Board, which published its aims in its new Corporate Plan for the period 1 April 2005 – 31 March 2008, said it wants to improve on ‘Effectiveness, Efficiency and Public Confidence’.

Co Antrim man Mark Allen has been knocked out of snooker's Scottish Open. Ronnie O'Sullivan defeated Allen 4-2 in his last 16 match on Thursday night, 15 December. 'The Rocket', who beat Jimmy White earlier in the day, raced into a 2-0 lead against Allen.

Antrim man Mark Allen has been knocked out of the UK Snooker Championship in York. He was beaten 6-3 by Scotland's John Higgins in the last 16. Allen drew level with Higgins before the mid-session interval, however Higgins pushed ahead and secured a spot in the quarter finals. Higgins will now play against Mark Selby.

Call For Road Safety Review After Three School Pupils Knocked Down In Belfast
The Department for Infrastructure is being urged to carry out a safety review of a busy junction in south Belfast after three teenagers were knocked down yesterday. The Wellington College pupils were involved in the collision at around 8am on Tuesday, 20 November, close to Rosetta Park on the Ormeau Road.
