Man Arrested For Causing Criminal Damage In L'Derry
Police are questioning a 48-year-old man on suspicion of having an offensive weapon and causing criminal damage in L'Derry.
The arrest is in connection with an incident in the Glendara area on Tuesday, 03 January.
Part of the Foyle Road was closed between Lone Moor Road and Bishop street as police carried out their investigations.

Arson Attack On Flat In L'Derry
Residents had to be evacuated from their homes following an arson attack on a flat in L'Derry. The attack happened in the Bayview Terrace area on Friday at around 10.30pm. Police and the emergency services attended the scene and extinguished the fire. Extensive damage was caused to the interior of the property. No-one was in the flat at the time.

Gardai have arrested a man in Donegal in connection with a shooting at a wedding reception in L'Derry. The shooting happened at Rafters bar and restaurant in the Northland Road area at around 8.30pm on Wednesday. The man was treated for a hand injury at hospital and has since been discharged.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.
