St George's Market To Open Every Day In Run Up To Christmas
St George's Market in Belfast is to open its doors every day in the run up to Christmas.
The opening hours are as follows:
• Monday 19 December – Thursday 22 December - 11am – 6pm
• Friday 23 December - 6am – 3pm
• Christmas Eve, Saturday 24 December - 8am – 2pm
• Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December - Market Closed
• Friday 30 December - 6am – 3pm
• New Years Eve, Saturday 31 December - 9am – 3pm
• New Years Day, Sunday 01 January - Market Closed

Lidl Christmas Village To Return To Belfast
Lidl Northern Ireland has announced that it will return to Belfast to host the Lidl Christmas Village for the second year running. The village will take place in the Cathedral Gardens of St Anne's Cathedral and will run for four days from Thursday, 10 December until Sunday, 13 December with free admission.

Retailers report poor Christmas sales
Like-for-like retail sales in the UK declined by 0.4% during December, the latest survey from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) has revealed. The report said that trading began slowly in December and had become "progressively worse" as the month continued. The figures showed that the three month trend rates of growth fell 0.1% in December from 0.
