Two Men Attacked During Burglary In South Belfast

Two men have been attacked during a burglary in south Belfast.

Three men believed to have been armed with a hammer, knife and baton forced their way into a house on Melrose Street just before midnight on Saturday, 17 December.

A number of windows in the property were smashed and the men made off with a sum of cash and other personal items.

The two victims were treated at the scene for their injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Attacked During Aggravated Burglary In South Belfast
A number of masked men attacked a 24-year-old man during an aggravated burglary in south Belfast. The assault happened at a property in the Malfin Drive area at around 10.10pm on Wednesday, 07 September. One man has been arrested and is being questioned at Musgrave Police Station. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two Men Attacked In South Belfast
Two men have been seriously injured after being attacked in south Belfast. The assault occurred in the Donegall Road area at around 9.30pm on Saturday. One of the men suffered a serious head injury and is currently in a critical condition in hospital.

Two Men Charged Over Aggravated Burglary In South Belfast
Two men have been charged in connection with a burglary in south Belfast. The incident happened at a property in the Stranmillis Gardens area in the early hours of Thursday morning, 23 November. Two women, a man and a young child were in the house at the time.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In Cookstown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

Women Tied Up In South Belfast Burglary
Two women have been assaulted and tied up during an aggravated burglary in south Belfast, police have said. Three men forced their way inside a property on Ashley Avenue at around 11.30pm on Wednesday night, 11 December. Two women, aged 38 and 40, who were inside at the time were assaulted by the intruders before being tied up.
