Investigation Launched After Thieves Break Into Cars During Carol Service

Police have launched an investigation after thieves broke into a number of cars outside a church during a carol service.

The thefts occurred in the Mullabrack Road area between 6.30pm and 9.30pm on Thursday, 08 December.

It is believed several items were stolen and police issued a warning reminding people not to leave valuables on display in parked vehicles.

Ulster Unionist Jim Speers tweeted: "Despicable attack tonight at Mullabrack church, several cars broken into, while primary school holds it's xmas carol service."

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
