Joe Reilly Murder: Man Arrested

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Joe Reilly.

Mr Reilly, 43, was shot at his home in the Glenwood Court area of Poleglass, west Belfast, on 20 October.

Police detained the suspect in the Newtownabbey area on Thursday, 08 December.

He has been taken to Musgrave Police Station for questioning.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police have retraced the steps of two murderers in connection with the killing of Joe Reilly in west Belfast. Mr Reilly, 43, was shot twice in the chest in his home last Thursday, 20 October, while two other people were forced to lie on the kitchen floor.

Renewed Appeal Into Joe Reilly Murder
Police investigating the murder of Joe Reilly last month have renewed their appeal for information. Mr Reilly, 43, was shot at his home in the Glenwood Court area of Poleglass, west Belfast, on Thursday 20 October. Today, detectives from Serious Crime Branch have issued a specific appeal for information about a person on a bicycle.

Joe Reilly Murder: Man Released Unconditionally
A man arrested in connection with the murder of Joe Reilly in west Belfast has been released. Mr Reilly, aged 43, was shot dead at his home in Glenwood Court in October. The 48 year-old suspect was arrested and taken to Musgrave Police Station for questioning. Police confirmed he has been released unconditionally.

Security Alert In L'Derry
Police cordons have been put in place in the Sevenoaks area of L'Derry following an incident in the area. Two loud bangs were heard in the area on Tuesday morning, 24 July, and people are being urged to avoid the area.
