Police deny fraud phone calls
Police in Dungannon have denied allegations that an officer is making calls to local businesses in an attempt to defraud them.
Detectives at the station say a man is making phone calls to businesses in the mid-Ulster area claiming to be an officer from the station collecting money for a "999 charity".
Denying it is one of their officers, police say the man asks for cash to be sent to an address in England.
Police have appealed for anyone who receives such a phone call to contact them immediately.
