Two die in road accidents
Two people have died following separate road accidents in Counties Antrim and Down.
A 40-year-old man died after being hit by a car as he walked along the Hillsborough Road in Dromara shortly before 7pm on Tuesday.
Two other people who were walking alongside the man at the time were also injured.
Elsewhere, a man has died following a road traffic accident in Antrim.
Another man was injured in the incident which occurred on the Steeple Road in the town.
Police have appealed for witnesses to either accident to contact them immediately.

Woman and child die in separate road accidents
Police are appealing for information after a woman and child died in two separate road accidents overnight. In Belcoo, Co Fermanagh, a three-year-old girl died after being hit by a car. The accident happened on the Railway Road at around 9.15pm on Monday. The girl is the third child to die on Northern Ireland's roads this year.

Two people have died following separate road accidents on Wednesday. Shane McNabb, 13, of Greenan Road, Trillick, died after the car he was travelling in collided with a van on the Kilskeery Road near the village at 4pm.
