Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A 30-year-old man has been remanded in custody charged with attempted murder following an incident at a property in Downpatrick, Co Down.
A woman remains in a critical condition in hospital after being injured at a house in the Thomas Russell Park area on Friday, 01 December.
The suspect is to appear to appear in court again via videolink on 29 December.

Two men are due to appear in court this morning, Friday 20 December, following the discovery of a drug factory in east Belfast. The pair, aged 42 and 44, have been charged with being concerned in the production of class A controlled drugs. It comes after a suspected drug manufacturing facility was uncovered on Wednesday 18 December.

Four men have been sentenced in connection with a series of ATM thefts in the County Antrim area over four years ago. The investigation related to a number of ATM thefts between 27th October 2018 and 6th December 2019, including the theft of two cash machines at a supermarket on Castle Way in Antrim.
