Police Appeal Following Arson Attack On Car In L'Derry

Police are appealing for information following an arson attack on a car in Co L'Derry.

The vehicle was parked in the driveway of a house in the Temple Park area at around 12.30am on Sunday, 04 December.

The car was destroyed and damage was also caused to the house.

A woman and her three children who were in the house at the time were not injured.

Two men were seen acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident.

One is described as being about 5ft 10inches tall, with dark hair and was wearing a two-toned puffa style jacket with a fur hood. The hood and sleeves were dark grey in colour while the body of the coat was light grey.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Armed Robber Dresses As Police Officer
Police are searching for two men in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a shop in Co Armagh. Police said that one of the men who attempted to rob the shop on West Street, Portadown, was dressed as a policeman. It is understood two men entered the shop at about 10am on Thursday, one of them was carrying a suspected firearm.

Police Appeal Following Attempted Vehicle Thefts In Portadown
Police in Lurgan have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following the attempted theft of vehicles in Portadown. At approximately 2.45am on Wednesday, 4th October, it was reported to police that there had been an attempt to steal a vehicle from outside a house in the Apple Vale area.

Colin Horner Murder: Man Arrested
A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner. Mr Horner, 35, was fatally shot in front of his young son in a supermarket car park on Sunday, 28 May. The man was arrested in the Newtownards area on Friday, 16 June. He has been taken to Musgrave Police station for questioning.
