Investigation Launched After Heroin And Cash Seized In Belfast

Police have launched an investigation after discovering heroin and a sum of cash in Belfast city centre.

Four wraps of the Class A drugs were found in bushes on Wednesday, 30 November.

Police also seized a sum of cash.

The PSNI are continuing with their enquiries.

Cash machine users were today advised to keep playing safe when making cash withdrawals, despite fraudulent cash withdrawals in Northern Ireland falling by 8% to £368,000 over the past year. Man Threatened And Sum Of Cash Of Stolen In Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a number of men threatened and demanded money from a man in Belfast. The incident happened in the Yorkgate area on Wednesday, 30 November. The victim, aged in his 30s, was forced into a car, taken to his home where a sum of cash was stolen. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Bag With Sum Of Cash Stolen In North Belfast Robbery
Police have launched an investigation after a green leather carrier bag containing a sum of cash was stolen after a man was robbed in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Carrs Glen Park area between 2.15am and 2.30am on Saturday, 04 June. PSNI Constable Marsh said: "Police particularly want to speak to two men seen in the area at this time.

Cannabis And Cash Seized In West Belfast
Two men have been arrested after police seized herbal cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £150,000, in Belfast. Around £15,000 cash was also discovered during a house search in west Belfast. The suspects, aged 37 and 41, have been arrested on suspicion of drugs trafficking and money laundering offences and are currently in police custody.
