BCC Announce Revitalise Events
Belfast City Council have announced a programme of events called Revitalise for independent retailers in Belfast.
The events are aimed at local independent retailers based in the city, interested in developing and enhancing business skills.
Through Revitalise retailer can access up to 10 and a half hours of mentoring from a range of experts to help with:
• financial management and business planning
• visual merchandising, window display and shop space design
• PR, marketing, sales and branding
• retail e-commerce development
Revitalise is free for all participants. You must be an independent retailer based in the Belfast City Council area and employ 20 people or less to be eligible to apply.

Businesses Celebrate Revitalise Programme
A number of small businesses have participated in a celebration event for the 'Revitalise' programe at Belfast's City Hall. The businesses participated in the initiative which is supported by Belfast City Council, Belfast City Centre Management and a number of private sector companies including Boots UK, M&S and Santander.

Nine Independent Retailers Win With Customer Care
Nine independent retailers have proved 'customer car' is a winning ticket after being awarded accolades for their work as part of Belfast`s first ever Independent Retail Week (BIRW). More than 160 local companies signed up to BIRW getting behind Belfast City Council's efforts to boost trade and improve service in the independent retail sector.

£500m Tribeca Belfast Redevelopment Approved
The latest phase of a £500 million Belfast Tribeca redevelopment scheme has been green lit by council. Belfast City Council's planning committee granted approval to the amendments submitted by Castlebrook Investments as it moves towards commencing work on the major development to the north-east quarter of Belfast City Centre.
