Investigation Launched After Sudden Death Of Man In South Belfast
Police have launched n investigation following the sudden death of a man, aged 23, in south Belfast.
He collapsed at an address in the University Road area on Sunday, 20 November.
A post-mortem is to be carried put to determine the cause of death.
Work To Begin On Road Improvement Scheme In Craigavon
Work on a £130,000 road improvement scheme in Craigavon, Co Armagh, is to begin on Monday, 28 November.
The resurfacing project, on the Moyraverty West Road, extends for approximately 950m from its junction with Westacres roundabout to Old Fort Lodge. Work is expected to be complete by early December.
Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard said: "The growth of our economy depends on having good infrastructure in place to meet the needs of our people. The benefits of the re-surfacing scheme will go towards helping meet these needs and improving transport connections for people, goods and services."
Woman Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
A woman has been convicted for claiming benefits she was not entitled to at Newtownards Magistrates' Court.
Amy Ferguson claimed Jobseeker's Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £5,616 while failing to declare employment. She was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay court costs of £19.
She is also required to repay any money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
